PTC: Johnson County Community College Tour

JUNIORS + SENIORS ONLY

The next adventure of our Pathway to College program will take us to Johnson County Community College in Overland Park, KS!

Students will get a guided tour of the campus, a presentation from campus representatives, and lunch in the school cafeteria. Along the way, they will experience life at JCCC and consider their futures, potential, and whether this college is right for them.

Important Note:

In order to attend this college visit, all students must complete the Pathway to College Course on the Bridge website. This course must be completed before September 25th, 2026. The course covers everything a high school student needs to know as they begin their college journey. It contains about 3 hours of content, so it's important to make a schedule so you can complete it before September 25th. Most students complete it by devoting one hour to course work, three days in a row. Find a time after school in three consecutive days!

Schedule:

Monday, October 5th, 2026

8:30AM: Arrive at Bridge Leadership Academy

9:00AM: Bus departs the Bridge (any students arriving past this point will miss the trip, no exceptions)

9:20AM: Arrive at JCCC

9:30-9:50AM: Admissions Presentation (SC 101)

9:50-10:50AM: Campus Tour

10:50AM-11:30AM: Lunch in JCCC Cafeteria

11:30AM: Bus departs JCCC

11:50AM-Noon: Bus arrives at the Bridge

12:30PM: Parent pickup/students head home
