Our Pillars

Leadership development is in everything we do. We spend time building rapport with our students so that we can equip them with the tools they need to succeed in adulthood. The Torch, our after-school program, helps students academically, socially, and emotionally.

Our Programs

The Torch

Held on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Bridge building in South KC, the Torch aims to holistically care for students of all ages. With homework support, social/emotional intelligence lessons, goal setting, and competitive Esports, we build lasting mentorships that help students grow.

Trailblazers

The Trailblazers series is designed to show students diverse career paths through hands-on learning and presentations from real professionals in Kansas City. Events are held throughout the calendar year and focus on a wide range of careers, such as healthcare, trades-workers, barbers, artists, and more.

Pathway to College

The Pathway to College program was designed to walk high school students through each step required to attend higher education. With a focus on cost-effectiveness and community support, we teach students the steps through travel experiences, hands-on learning, and presentations from professionals.

Move & Groove

Move & Groove is a Summer program all about active learning! Students attend 5 consecutive field trips focused on moving our bodies, experiencing new places, and learning what's not taught in the classroom.

Job Readiness

We listen to our student's dreams and aspirations and help them achieve their goals. The Job Readiness program teaches them life skills, work ethic, interview skills, and anything else they need to be prepared for the workplace.
