New Year Reset!

We've just entered the new year, and now is the perfect time to reassess & reevaluate our goals and to reset ourselves physically, mentally, and spiritually. 2021 was an incredibly challenging year for all of us, and as we go into 2022 it is important that we reflect on the past year so that we are able to enter the new year with resilience, hope, and motivation.

Resetting can look like many things to many people, but the goal is always to refresh yourself and make room for growth, improvement, and success. Below are a few ways that you can reset for the new year:

Reflect & Process

Take some time and reflect on the past year of your life. This could be perfect as a prompt for a journal or blog. What did you accomplish this year? What places do you wish to improve in? What were some important moments in your life this year?

 Detox Yourself

The new year is the perfect time to start healthier habits, and the best way to do that is to purge any toxins you may have in your system. For some, this could mean reducing drinking, recreational drugs, fast food, etc. Whatever it may be, consider taking this time to let your body refresh itself.

Heal & Forgive

Now more than ever, it is incredibly important to pay attention to our mental & emotional wellbeing along with our physical wellbeing. Living in a global pandemic inevitably takes a toll on us all, and so it is very beneficial to acknowledge the ways that our current situation has affected mental health, interfered with plans & goals, and forced us to deal with challenges that are unfamiliar. Processing all of this can be difficult to do alone, so don't hesitate to ask for help or even a listening ear, from a parent, teacher, or friend.
